| 中文描述 | SARCOCYSTIS TENELLA可以引起綿羊的腦脊髓炎，通常發生在一歲以下的動物。曾在成熟母羊爆發輕微神經症狀，屍體解剖時有非化膿性的腦炎和脊髓炎，與原蟲囊胚有關，由免疫過氧化氫酶鑑定為肌肉孢子蟲（Henderson et al.）。 |

| 英文描述 | SARCOCYSTIS TENELLA can cause myeloencephalitis of sheep, usually in animals under a year of age. There was an outbreak of mild neurologic signs in mature ewes with nonsuppurative encephalitis and myelitis at necropsy that was associated with protozoan cysts identified as SARCOCYSTIS spp. by immunoperoxidase (Henderson et al.). |
